Loud Taxies.
Minibus Taxies are often the only means of transport for the masses in the Cape Flats and in all the cities and townships of South Africa. Always overloaded, driven at breakneck speed and often held together by bits of wire and masking tape they are generally given a wide birth by other drivers on South African roads. The loud taxies are a special breed though, they are equipped with massive sound systems and decorated with street art styled airbrushed images... mobile graffiti. They generally work the school routes, and compete for custom with kids who's parents will never own their own cars but stilll want to be seen in the coolest ride.
